The Great "O" Antiphons: A Service of Hope and Expectation
~ told in scripture, song and the sonnets of Malcolm Guite ~

November 28 at 4 p.m. – in-person (no pre-registration required) or online

The “O Antiphons” make up the verses of the carol “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” and have been observed since the eighth century. Drawn from the ancient biblical images of the messianic prophecies of the Old Testament, they repeatedly use the invitation “come” as a way to address the longing of the coming Messiah. We invite you to join us for this service interwoven with scripture, chant, poetry and song, to create a time of reflection and expectation as we watch and wait for Christ’s coming.
