A note on preaching at St. Augustines

Preaching at St. Augustine's is always rooted in the scripture.

Preaching at Sunday morning services, weekday services, and special services is usually based on the Biblical readings set out by the Revised Common Lectionary. We believe that this facilitates hearing what God wants us to hear rather than having our preacher decide what he wants us to hear and then selecting texts which support his point of view.
