In the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation, St. Augustine’s parishioners will be meeting to read “Our Home and Treaty Land” by Raymond Aldred and Matthew Anderson. Part theology, history, and call to action, we hope this book will elicit valuable, compassionate and informed conversations. Sessions will include “read alouds” of the book, followed by time for questions and conversation. No prior knowledge or reading is required for this study. If you do want to take a look at the book ahead of time, or have your own copy to read along with the group, you can find copies on Amazon, or from a local bookstore, for about $25.
