SUMMARY:Fall Lecture Series with Eric Bateman
DESCRIPTION:How the Christian Revolution Remade the World: The Gift and the Burden of the Church’s Story\nHow has Christianity shaped society? Can we see its influence even in the present? Has the Church made us who we are (even those of us who don’t belong to the Church)? And if so\, what does that mean for Christians in the West today? This eight-week series will tackle those questions in conversation with the historian Tom Holland’s influential 2019 book Dominion: How the Christian Revolution Remade the World. The series will follow the basic structure of the book\, but reading along is not required. \nTuesdays\, October 14 – December 9\, 7-8:30 pm (No meeting on Tuesday November 11\, Remembrance Day)
