SUMMARY:Annual Meeting of Parishioners 2026
DESCRIPTION:This year’s AMP is on Monday\, February 9 in the Crypt (basement of the church). Anyone who regularly attends any of our weekly services and receives Holy Communion is considered a member of this congregation\, and is welcome to attend and to vote during the meeting. Please plan to join us at 6 pm for a potluck dinner. Bring along a dish of your choice to share. Note that labelling the dishes as gluten-free or lactose-free or “contains garlic” is very helpful. The business meeting begins at 7 pm. For those submitting reports for the booklet\, the deadline is January 20. Please submit them by email (office@staug.org) or drop them off at the church office in either hardcopy or digital form.

DESCRIPTION:For a bit of Christmas fun\, join us in watching The Bishop’s Wife\, a lighthearted tale of an angel sent to help a troubled clergyman and his family. Starring Cary Grant\, David Niven and Loretta Young\, this sweet old film offers a post-war take on contemporary Christmas and the Anglican tradition. It was later remade as the Preacher’s Wife starring Denzel Washington and Whitney Houston\, but this version is the original. The movie starts at 7:00 pm ~ bring snacks and soft drinks to share as you are able.

SUMMARY:Seniors' Christmas Party
DESCRIPTION:The Annual Seniors’ Christmas Party is rapidly approaching — it’s the best party of the year!  The gala will be on Saturday\, Nov. 29\, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the Crypt. The party is a wonderful opportunity to mingle with friends\, enjoy sandwiches\, goodies\, wine and other beverages. The party is free for all guests 65 or older and their partners. We have prizes for the oldest and the youngest seniors and we will be entertained by Tim and Carolyn Scott with festive music. If you’re not old enough to attend this party\, but would like to assist with it\, contact the office or Carol Young to volunteer.

DESCRIPTION:If you’re a newcomer to St. Augustine’s and have not yet attended a Newcomer’s Luncheon\, you’re invited to attend this event.  It will be in the Crypt (church basement)\, on Sunday\, November 16\, starting at 12:00\, just after coffee hour. You’ll have an opportunity to meet other newcomers and our clergy\, learn more about St. Augustine’s and complete a parish membership form if you choose. DESCRIPTION:Our Harvest Dinner is the highlight of St. Augustine’s fall schedule when everyone is invited to share a scrumptious roast beef dinner. Wine will be available for purchase but it is cash only – $15 per bottle or $5 per glass. Tickets are $12 for adults\, $5 for children under age 12\, and free for children 2 years old or younger. However\, seating is limited so reserve your tickets today using one of these methods:\n1. Visit the table at the back of the Narthex following the 10 am service (cash or a cheque made out to St. Augustine’s Anglican Church)\n2. Drop by the office (cash or a cheque made out to St. Augustine’s Anglican Church)\n3.
