Lent and Holy Week 2026
Welcome to the season of Lent at St. Augustine’s. Between now and Easter we offer a Lenten Pilgrimage – a series of meditations on scripture written by our own parishioners, complete with images to ponder and music to enjoy. Consider using these daily meditations to augment your own private devotions. We also offer several special worship events. During Holy Week, our Maundy Thursday service on April 2 celebrates the Last Supper; our Good Friday service on April 3 offers a time of solemn reflection; our Great Vigil Service on Saturday follows one of the most ancient and beautiful liturgies in the church calendar; and our Easter Sunday services on April 5 are a joyful celebration of Christ’s resurrection. The season of Lent is a powerful and profoundly beautiful time of year at St. Augustine’s, and you are warmly invited to participate in as many of these events and activities as you are able.
